Full disclosure: these are my own wedding trend predictions, so there is no scientific formula for this one! 🙂 Although, based on what I have been watching and researching for the past few months, I think these wedding trends will be big in 2016 and I’m excited to see all that the wedding world has to offer this year!
Partly due to Pantone announcing their color of the year as Rose Quartz and Serenity, but I think also in part on how softly and elegantly these colors can be incorporated into any wedding theme. I have to say – my favorite color was pink when I was a little girl and now as a big girl!

Such a delicate glow for any indoor or outdoor wedding. And so many ways you can use them – as centerpieces, alter back-drops, wrapping trees, hanging and swaging from the ceiling … oh, the possibilities!

3. Lush Greenery
Talk about high impact! And the great part is, greenery can also be low cost. There are so many gorgeous ways in which ferns, ivy, eucalyptus and even succulents can be used throughout the wedding. These natural beauties are certainly the perfect pair to any flower!

4. Naked Wedding Cakes
It sounds so risqué! 🙂 But they are actually quite beautiful and your wedding does not have to be rustic to have these delicious centerpieces. Personally, my mouth waters more looking at these natural beauties because I can see exactly what is making them so delectable on the inside!

Gold, silver, copper, platinum and even sequins. This is probably my favorite wedding trend I’ve seen. I am a little partial to contemporary ‘pops’ of style, but I’ve seen these metallics used in the most glamorous and romantic ways.
